The Vasyli Rearfoot Posting system is designed to address rearfoot varus by providing additional wedging to control pronatory conditions. Rearfoot varus is defined by a combination of subtalar neutral and tibial varum, forming the neutral calcaneal stance position (NCSP). To correct this, Vasyli rearfoot wedges come in two-degree and four-degree inclinations, made from firm (red) density EVA for maximum durability and effectiveness. This extra wedging enhances the controlling aspect of your orthotic device, helping to reposition the foot and reduce excessive pronation.

Proper wedging plays a crucial role in managing pronatory conditions, particularly by altering the timing of pronatory phases. Most rearfoot wedging is applied on the medial aspect of the calcaneus to increase inversion at the subtalar joint, thereby restoring the foot's structural integrity and aligning the lower limb.
