The Vasyli Forefoot Valgus Wedge is a self-adhesive addition applied to an existing orthotic device to correct a forefoot valgus abnormality — where the plantar plane of the forefoot is everted relative to the rearfoot when the subtalar joint is in neutral. The forefoot valgus angle is measured first, then the wedge is posted at the matching angle under the plantar metatarsal area, with the thickest part of the wedge positioned proximal to the fifth metatarsal head, providing precise biomechanical support to help correct foot alignment.
