A TENS (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation) machine and an EMS (Electrical Muscle Stimulation) machine serve different purposes in pain management and muscle stimulation.
TENS machines provide pain relief. It uses low-level electrical currents to stimulate the nerves through electrode pads placed on the skin near the area of pain. The electrical stimulation helps to block or reduce the perception of pain signals being transmitted to the brain. TENS machines are commonly used for conditions such as chronic pain, arthritis, muscle tension, and postoperative pain.
An EMS machine is to stimulate muscle contractions. EMS delivers electrical impulses to the muscles via electrode pads placed on the skin. These impulses mimic the natural electrical signals that activate muscles during voluntary movements. EMS machines are primarily used for muscle strengthening, rehabilitation, and enhancing muscle performance.
We sell two great brands, Neurotrac, and POW.R. Take a look at them below.
