The Com-Pressor Belt is a pelvic compression belt developed by physiotherapist Diane Lee, who invented the design and holds the patent. It helps promote pelvic and core stability while you retrain the muscles around the lower back and pelvis. A separate inelastic belt is paired with elastic compression bands placed where you need support, so both the location and the amount of compression can be adjusted around the pelvic girdle. It’s low profile and non-slip, so it can be worn under clothing, and hook-and-loop strapping gives a secure fit. Illustrated instructions come with the belt, to make it easier to use.
Key features:
- Adjustable compression: the location and amount can be changed around the pelvic girdle
- Inelastic belt with elastic compression bands: support is placed where it’s needed
- Promotes pelvic and core stability: during muscle retraining
- Low-profile, non-slip design: can be worn under clothing
- Hook-and-loop strapping: secure fit
- Care: wash on a gentle cycle and lay flat to dry. Do not put in the dryer
Indications:
- Impaired lumbo-pelvic core muscle function (retraining and rehabilitation)
- Postpartum recovery
