Lightfeet Arch Support Flip Flops have been designed and owned by Australian Podiatrist, Dan Thomas since 2006. His extensive knowledge in foot mechanics, has led to the Lightfeet range of therapeutic, soft and fashionable Arch Support Flip Flops.
MADE FROM RECYCLED MATERIALS
EVA takes 150 to 200 years to breakdown in landfill. We take the EVA offcuts from factory production and recycle them for our Lightfeet Arch Support Thongs.
Our unique process of repurposing EVA from offcuts prevents unnecessary waste and materials going to landfill so you can feel good in mind and body by helping reduce waste with every step.
TOE POST LENGTH
Clinical research shows that one of the main areas for irritation and potential blisters is due to the length of the toe post.
The length of our Lightfeet toe post is set at a slightly higher height. This specific height easily holds the Flip Flop to your foot, but we know will cause less irritation, rubbing and potential blisters than other brands.
FIRST RAY DROP OUT
Unlike competitors, Lightfeet Arch Support Flip Flops have a first ray drop out to help increase the performance of the Windlass Mechanism.
The windlass mechanism describes the efficiency the foot to support the body and absorb shock during weight- bearing activities.
By providing a first ray drop, Lightfeet Arch Support Flip Flops are assisting the plantar fascia to function correctly, and therefore helping relieve pain associated with plantar fasciitis.
WIDER FOOTBED
Lightfeet offers a wider footbed than competitors. This allows for a more generous fit for customers with a slightly broader foot without having to stretch the toe post and straps.
SOFTER DENSITY
Lightfeet Arch Support Thongs have a softer density than competitors. The soft footbed offers greater cushioning and instant comfort without jeopardising durability.
REDUCED ARCH IRRITATION
The arch contour of the Lightfeet Arch Support Flip Flops is specifically designed to cradle the entire surface area of the underside of the foot.
Some competitor thongs are designed with gaps under the arch contour, which can potentially create irritation, discomfort and blisters.
DEEPER HEEL CUP
Lightfeet Arch Support Flip Flops offer a deeper heel cup than most competitor brands in the market.A deep heel cup helps maintain foot alignment, helping relieve ankle, knee, hip pain.It also helps with remaining stable on your Flip Flop. Sliding off the side of has been flagged as an issue with some other brands.
