The DeRoyal LMB Spring Coil Extension Assist — also known as the Wynn Parry or Capener splint — uses coil springs placed lateral to and in line with the PIP joint. Curved proximal and distal supports distribute pressure evenly, and extension assistance can be adjusted by altering the distal strap. This design provides uniform force throughout the range of motion, offering stronger spring tension at the extended position than models #501 or #602. High-quality Wire-Foam construction allows for a customised fit.
