POW.R Eco-Friendly Foam Rollers - Decrease CO2 and Reduce Petroleum Usage
POW.R Eco-Friendly Foam Rollers use an eco-friendly biobased foam in which fossil EVA is replaced with biobased carbon. The foam is made from a wide range of renewable biobased feedstock including bamboo, rice husks, straw, wood, also recycled agricultural wastes, which are not eligible for food or feed production. Biobased materials have the unique potential to reduce greenhouse gas emissions or can even be carbon neutral. Plants absorb atmospheric carbon dioxide as they grow and constitutes a temporary removal of greenhouse gases (CO2) from the atmosphere. This biobased foam can also help to reduce the dependency on limited fossil resources.
POW.R Eco-Friendly Foam Roller Features
30% BIOBASED CARBON
Made from a wide range of renewable biobased feedstock including bamboo, rice husks, straw, wood and agricultural waste, which are not eligible for food or feed production.
38% FOSSIL EVA REDUCTION
Fossil EVA usage is reduced which produces less harmful and toxic materials that cause environmental pollution.
23% CO2 EMISSION REDUCTION
The production of eco foam decreases CO2 emission by up to 23%. Because fossil fuel usage is reduced. The amount of decreased CO2 equals 18-40 trees CO2 in annual absorption.
50% RENEWABLE RESOURCES
Contains up to 50% renewable materials. It can also be recycled and is produced by using renewable energy sources.
Tested by BETA lab, and biobased carbon content is up to 30%. It conforms to USDA BioPreferred Program under foam intermediates (22%) category.
